In this crash course, we will explore how to expand your playscript palette and tailor it to your company and classroom needs, be teachable, and create a safe and welcoming artistic environment for all. We will dive headfirst into the harmful practices of the theatre world at large and explore how to actively counteract them in our day-to-day work. The first step is making the commitment to better the theatre one day at a time. Make this class your first step!

You will be given the tools to:

  • Invest in preventative care

  • Build seasons that better represent your students/company

  • Create safe but brave spaces in your classrooms, rehearsals, production meetings etc.
